Medieval Roundtable

 

at CSUSM

 

 

           The Medieval Roundtable is a student organization at California State University San Marcos dedicated to the

      exploration and education of Medieval and Renaissance literature, art, history, customs, and other aspects of

      early European culture. 

           Students, staff, faculty, and community members are welcome, and encouraged, to attend events. Past

      activities include movie screenings, a Beowulf marathon reading, finals' week happy hours, sponsoring visiting

      scholars, and hosting public lectures.

 

The Fall 2003 meetings will be held biweekly on the following

Tuesdays from 11:00-12:00 in U-Hall 449:

September 9th & 23rd
October 7th & 21st
November 4th & 18th
December 2nd & 16th

 

     

    Medieval Memories:

      Guest speaker: Dr. Raymond Fleming, FSU, in a poetry reading and discussion of writers and their craft. October 2003

      Trip to the Getty Museum, "Making of a Medieval Book," September  2003

      Beowulf Marathon Reading, February 2003
